| NewsUndergraduates Implement Mentoring Program for Local Middle School StudentsPhi Kappa Psi Pennsylvania Gamma chapter in collaboration with Bucknell's Office for Diversity and Equity recently developed a community outreach program known as Bridges to Higher Learning. Twenty Phi Psi brothers have volunteered to mentor middle school students in the nearby community of Sunbury, PA. Through this program, the brothers hope to tutor disenfranchised students as well as encourage them to pursue post-secondary education. This initiative will also enable our brothers to develop invaluable cross-cultural communication skills. Once again, the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi have proven to be leaders in the Bucknell community, for several other campus Greek organizations have expressed interest in making a similar commitment to diversity and service. I really liked the idea of joining an organization that had that credit all over campus. Phi Psi has been nothing less than that.
